Who are we?
With contributions from leaders across public and private sectors, we developed the 5Qs Framework, a world-class leadership framework that empowers decision-makers to lead with intelligence and confidence.
In 2018, we published Leadership Intelligence: The 5Qs for Thriving as a Leader, receiving widespread international acclaim. Translated into more than ten languages, this work set the foundation for our digital academy, aimed at broadening leadership impact for leaders.
Our aim is to help leaders at the highest levels master these five interconnected aspects of leadership by fostering resilience, ethical decision-making, and strategic influence.

Dr Ali Jawad is a leading expert in bridging strategic visions with practical public sector transformation. He has led national policy initiatives and developed leadership programmes for government, championing transformation, public-private partnerships, and entrepreneurial governance.
As founding president of the Royal Academy of Management, Dr Jawad transformed it into a GCC benchmark for leadership excellence, drawing senior leaders from public and private sectors.
Dr Ali has worked with consulting giants Booz Allen & Hamilton and PA Consulting on strategic projects across MENA. He is also affiliated with global academic institutions, including Oxford’s Saïd Business School and Yale School of Management, and serves on various educational boards. His publications, Government Reimagined (2020) and Leadership Intelligence: The 5Qs for Thriving as a Leader (2018), underscore his contributions to governance and leadership.

Dr Andrew Kakabadse is the co-author of Leadership Intelligence: The 5Qs for Thriving as a Leader and an experienced and highly successful author with a following in Europe and parts of Asia, and a growing influence in the US.
Andrew is Professor of Governance and Strategic Leadership, Henley Business School, Emeritus Professor, Cranfield School of Management and Visiting Professor at US, Australian, French and Chinese universities.
His research covers boards, top teams, government and policy design. He has published 41 books, over 240 articles and 18 monographs. Andrew has consulted and lectured in the UK, Europe, USA, China, Japan, Russia, Georgia, the Gulf States and Australia. He has held positions on a number of boards.
